Michael Jordans 97-98 $33 Million Contract up for Auction! -- video highlights of the '98 championship game

Dallas based Heritage Auctions has obtained the 24 page document, which is signed by Michael Jordan several times, along with members of the Bulls' front office. The current bid is set at $32,500. According to ESPN's Darren Rovell, the cosignor originally won the contract at a charity auction in 2000 for less than $1,000.

Bidding at Heritage Auctions ends August 1st. Its at 40k rite now... whoa.

As the only Michael Jordan player's contract ever made available for public sale, and the most lucrative NBA contract bar none, this is a document that ranks among the most significant in the sport's archives. The paperwork that brought Babe Ruth into the New York Yankees fold famously commanded $1 million at auction, and the passing of decades may well establish this exceptional rarity as its equal as the legend of Michael Jordan retreats deeper into American sports history. Full LOA from PSA/DNAFull LOA from James Spence Authentication.
