Slam Magazines Top 50 players for the 2014-2015 season!

I've gotta give it to Slam Magazine here and say that this list is very accurate in my opinion. Its not only listing the top scorers, but the best defensive players have a somewhat accurate placement as well.

The ultimate fantasy season cheat sheet...haa!  (if no one gets injured lol)

Also, I've listed the top five players and their listings over the last few years.

Go get the paperback! Download the magazine! Slam Magazine

Air Jordan 13 - White/Black - Wolf Grey - 10/25

The Air Jordan 13 was an unexpected addition to the Air Jordan retro lineup this year. A total of three brand new pairs will have hit retail shelves when 2014 is all said and done, and each brings a brand new feature to the table for the silhouette, whether it was the reflective 3M treatment that the premium $200 rendition of the Air Jordan 13 “Reflective” received, a new take on the “Bred” aesthetic featuring tumbled leather, or this simplistic White and Black pair dubbed the “Barons” for its resemblance to MJ’s minor league squad’s uniforms. The pair cleverly utilizes an iridescent patent leather strip on the mudguard yet isn’t too flashy while Tropical Teal adds a splash of color on the bottom. Release date? October 25th!

Is Carmelo Anthony getting his own Jordan 1's? oooooohhhhhhh!

Heres a sneak peek of what could be the Carmelo Anthony 1's. I have no idea if this is true, but the source is kinda reliable. With All-Star weekend being in NYC this year, Carmelo being NYC's biggest basketball figure and the Jordan brand as the biggest money maker in basketball without a doubt? I can see this happening.

More of a lifestyle sneaker than a basketball shoe?

They would be fire.

Stay tuned.

Air Max Lunar - Chicago Marathon - Release? 10/12

There’s no doubt that the Nike Air Max Lunar1 isn’t exactly a road running shoe – you won’t find them on the finish line of any serious marathons this year. With that being said, the shoe is still being linked up with such a race in this “Chicago Marathon” release. The pair features some “Own Chicago” branding as well as aglets that reference the day of the race. Browse the official imagery on this just released pair of Air Max 1s and then get them for yourself straight fromNike ahead of next week’s race.

Jordan 11 lows coming in 2015 ? Yep.

The Jordan brand is continuing to expand and diversify. The Jordan 11's are among the best that Jordan has to offer, and 2015 will be no different. The biggest change you will notice will be the low variation of the popular sneaker, with multiple colorways and FABRICS...

Yes the Jordan 11's will come in snakeskin, patent leather, possibly regular leather... and suede. Yes... SUUUEDE. In my opinion, some colors work way better in suede than others. Feel free to check Tyrone Green Basketball, we'll keep you posted. Check for some samples below.

The "American Dad" Stan Smiths

These new conglomerate or concentric (look it up) mergers that sneakers are making happen? Dope as fuck! The Dwayne Wade collab inspired by Dexter (serial killer show no longer on the air)... the Converse All Star Simpsons 25th Anniversary collab and now the Adidas collab with American Dad all make sense and all produced some pretty decent kicks.

I guess the dads name (in American Dad) is Stan Smith, and who's never heard of the classic Stan Smith Adidas... makes sense that those two entities collab. I never saw it coming honestly. Pics and video via Complex below.

Adidas Skate - Busenitz Vulc - "Knicks"

Adidas continues to master their craft, whether its in the realm of basketball or skate, they know no limits. The latest project adidas tackles on is this version of the adidas Skateboarding Busenitz, and gifts it with a Knicks colorway. Traditionally, we might see a basketball colorway paired with a basketball sneaker, but adidas broke the mold with this one and presents us with the Adidas Skate Busenitz Vulc “Knicks”.

Phil Jackson compared J.R. Smith to Dennis Rodman. Smith is feelin that.

Phil Jackson and Derek Fisher are bringing the triangle to New York.
J.R. Smith is about the least triangle-style player in the league. Throw in Smith’s antics — untying players shoes during free throws was a fun one last year — and he seems a square peg for Jackson’s Zen triangle holes.
In a Q&A recently with the New York Post Jackson made this comparison with Smith.
“I don’t know if (getting through to him is) possible or not. He might be one of those guys that’s a little bit like Dennis Rodman that has an outlier kind of side to him. But I’m gonna get to know him as we go along, and we’ll find a way to either make him a very useful player on our organization, or whatever.”
