Tryout Information

The Canton Charge will hold an open player tryout in Canton for their upcoming 2014-15 NBA Development League season. Open tryouts will offer players the opportunity to exhibit their skills in order to earn an invitation to the team’s official training camp in November.

The tryout will feature two sessions, both on Saturday, September 20th, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and continue that afternoon from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Canton McKinley’s Memorial Fieldhouse (1815 Harrison Ave. NW Canton, OH 44708). Each tryout participant must be available to participate in BOTH sessions.

Registration

Step 1

Print and fill out the 2014 Local Player Tryout Registration Form and Player Release & Eligibility Form by CLICKING HERE.

*The Player Release & Eligibility Form must be signed.

Step 2

Pay the $150 Registration fee online (plus $5 handling fee) by clicking on the tryout location below:

• Canton Tryout - Saturday, September 20th

*The fee increases to $200 on-site the day of the tryout (Cash or money order ONLY).

Step 3

Scan the completed documents and email them to mgansey@cavs.com

Please mail the documents to the Cleveland Clinic Courts, 6101 Brecksville Rd. Independence, Ohio 44131 by the designated tryout pre-registration date (documents MUST be received by 5 p.m. Friday, September 19th).
