Two draft picks playing in the D-League and their different paths. Hairston and Anetetokounmpo meet in Vegas

PJ Hairston (Charlotte Hornets) and Thanasis Antetokounmpo (New York Knicks) are the first two players to play simultaneously in the D-League and be selected in the NBA Draft! Congrats to them! The D-League is progressing with talent and is proving to be a solid stepping stone for players looking to enter the NBA and players looking to stay sharp in the offseason.

Hairston was a first round pick using the summer league as a tune up. He was and is the type of player that everyone knew would make it to the NBA. Antetokounmpo took a completely different path, coming thru the d-League to crack into the Knicks roster this year. From extreme poverty in Greece to the NY Knicks... all the best to him!
